TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
HOLLINGTON ROAD, CROXDEN
NOTICE is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council on 25 January 2022 made an Order the effect of
which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Hollington Road in Croxden from its junction
with Nabb Lane to a point outside Homestead Farm unless the vehicle is being used in connection with the works;
or unless the vehicle requires access to premises on the length of road or is being used for police, fire brigade or
ambulance purposes. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be available.
An alternative route for traffic is available via Rocester Road (Butterley Bank), Rocester Road, Hollington Lane,
Watery Lane, Hollington Lane, St Michaels Road, High Street, Stramshall Road, A518 Ashbourne Road, B5030
Ashbourne Road, B5030 Woodseat Level, Station Road, Red Hill, Hollington Road and vice versa. For more

The order will come into operation on 28 January 2022 and the said works will commence on or as near
as practicable to that date. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 18 February 2022.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, or until the water main replacement works undertaken by
Network Plus on behalf of South Staffordshire Water, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have
been completed, whichever is the earlier.
